GORHAM, ME — The Gorham Fire Department would like to congratulate Chief Ken Fickett on his Commendation for Valor. The Gorham Police Department presented the Chief with this award for a courageous rescue made March 7th, 2023.

Chief Fickett was the first fire department unit to arrive and rescued a victim from the room that was involved by fire. His quick action with the assistance from two police officers on the scene saved a life.
