GORHAM, ME (May 19, 2022) —  Today, GMS had its first full school assembly since October 2019. (Students were grouped and called down by team to avoid unnecessary contact.)

The assembly was a chance for us to recognize all students that have participated in clubs, activities, and athletics over the course of the year. In addition, Madison essay winners and the VFW essay winner was formally recognized.

Congratulations to Haley Vickery, the VFW essay winner and Arabella Bradley the Madison essay winner along with runners up Stella Moores and Sophie Giberson.

Finally, Mr. Donahue wrapped up the assembly with a special “homework” assignment for the summer: 1) Do something special for a loved one, 2) Donate a day to help the community, 3) Shut off and spend a day outside, and 4) Take part in something you would not typically do.
