Evergreen CU Helps Local Groups
From Evergreen CU
PORTLAND – Covid put tremendous strain on many community organizations, both profit and non-profit.
In the last 14 months, Evergreen dedicated human and financial resources to many organizations to help carry them through this difficult time.

A total of $75,000 was allocated to more than 10 local groups, including The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Portland Food Map, Portland Trails, Cooking for Community, and Ending Hunger in Maine.

Evergreen collaborates with these and many other groups to help them grow and better serve all Mainers.

“Our relationship with the communities we serve includes these collaborations with very relevant local organizations,” said Evergreen CEO Jason Lindstrom. “Giving back is what credit unions are known for, and the pandemic made our support that much more important.”
