“We were kind of going for “The Great Gatsby” look and feel, said Karen Nason last Wednesday at the Spire 29 venue open house. Karen Nason is owner of Grand Central Wine Bar in Gorham and part of the new management team of Spire 29, along with Fausto Pifferrer of Blue Elephant Event & Catering and Laurie Andrews of Laurie Andrews Design. Pifferrer and Andrews are also founders of Bash–Maine Event Marketplace and Planning Studio at the Maine Mall in Portland, sharing sixty years of combined experience as wedding professionals.

The team’s venue unveiling event boasted the transformation of the updated property showcasing the “glitz and glam” of the era, offered tasty catering samples, signature cocktails and a feast for the eyes. Spire 29 On The Square is located at 29 School Street in Gorham.
