GORHAM, ME (August 20, 2022) — The Taste Walk is an annual event held in downtown Gorham where community members “walk the streets and taste the eats.” Restaurants provide food and drink samples throughout downtown and Taste Walk participants vote on their favorite treat.

The winning restaurant gets the Golden Spoon Award. The University of Southern Maine was the reigning champion from 2019, and after taking two years off from the event due to COVID, Azul Tequila won for 2022. The second place business was Junction Bowl and in third place was the new Wormell Farms/Village Baking Co.

Young Life Sebago, an outreach mentorship program for high school and middle school students in Gorham and Windham, is the sponsor of the event. Suzie Phillips is the Taste Walk Coordinator. We were glad to be back again for this event this year!
