Help a Gorham Child Celebrate ‘The Meaning of Christmas’

GORHAM, ME (November 18, 2022) — It’s time! The requests are starting to come in from the schools and lists will be going live soon. Please head over to The Meaning of Christmas Project‘s Facebook page and find out how to help make Christmas a little brighter for a local child!

Here’s how you can help:

1) Send a PM with your name, phone number, and email to The Meaning of Christmas Project‘s Facebook Messenger. If you would be okay with texts, include that in your message (Things got crazy working through Messenger last year!)

2) Please message *roughly* what you can help with.

For example: we had people donate everything from an electric keyboard to game consoles to $10 gift cards last year. Some people just wanted to Venmo money to keep it simple. There are lots of ways you can help!

3) You will get a response with a “match” as soon as one is made and/or an Amazon Wish List will be shared with you.

4) Presents or items will need to be dropped off by the 15th of December. If absolutely necessary, they can be picked up. Last year people sent them directly via Amazon. That’s fine too!

5) Thank yourself for doing what you can to make a kid’s life a little brighter at a time of year that is notoriously difficult for so many.
