Travis Mills (fourth from l.) poses with members of the Reunion Committee next to the granite bench they donated to Veterans Memorial Park. L. to r, from front, are Ron Landry, Elaine Lawrence, Anita Delekto, Doris Roy, Joane Mahon, Jackie Veilleux, Dick Cloutier, Claudette Rodrigue, Mike Parkin, Bob Volock, John Delahanty, Linda Narvick, Chuck Palian, and Louis Dumont.

Lewiston High School’s Class of 1966 recently made a donation of $2500 to the Travis Mills Foundation, a Maine-based non pro?t that assists wounded and injured veterans and their families.

The class also gifted a granite bench to Veterans Memorial Park as a class legacy. The generosity of classmates, along with contributions by local businesses Davinci’s, Fishbones, Fuel, Marche, Mother India, Orchid and Rails, helped exceed the cost of the bench, which was dedicated in July during a week of events celebrating the class’s 50th reunion.
