Lee Young will be honored with the YWCA of Central Maine’s first annual Women of Achievement Award at a gala celebration on Thursday, December 3.

The Board of Directors and staff of the YWCA of Central Maine will present their first annual Women of Achievement Award to Lee Young of Auburn at a gala event on Thursday, December 3 at the Ramada Inn of Lewiston.

The Women of Achievement Award recognizes exceptional community contributors. Award recipients are women leaders in Maine who have exhibited a unique combination of qualities, including leadership and a commitment to civic engagement, service and advocacy, that emulate the mission of the YWCA and leave a lasting impact in our state and local community.

Emceed by Tammie Grieshaber, the gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour. The event will include dinner, festive music and the award ceremony.
