Night golfers raise $10k for CMHVI
Central Maine Medical Center’s recent Charles Day Glow Golf Scramble at Martindale Country Club raised $10,000 for the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute (CMHVI).
Slated to become CMMC’s fifth premier social event, the unique glow-in-the-dark tournament provides a fun and exciting experience while creating an opportunity to support the work of Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute.
The CMMC Associates Volunteer Program committee that planned and organized the event included co-chairs Jim Day and Janice Anthoine of Martindale Country Club, Paul Beaudette of Leading Edge Business Strategies, Arnold Benak of CMHVI, Alina Burke of Bangor Savings Bank, Christine Girouard of Chrissy’s Down Home Cleaning, Jessica Dumond of Corporate Intelligence, Gloria Hewey of Better Homes and Gardens-The Masiello Group, Shawn Holt of MassMutual Financial Group and Katye Vachon of Camden National.
Celebrating its eleventh year of providing life-saving advanced cardiovascular surgical interventions and specialized nursing care to the residents of central and western Maine, CMHVI has a dedicated chapter of Mended Hearts, a national and community-based peer support program that offers the gift of hope and healing to heart disease patients and their family of caregivers.
