Avant-Garde Maine held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their downtown Lewiston paint bar and art studio at 182 Lisbon Street in Lewiston on September 17.

They offer wine, beer, soft drinks and small food offerings while guests visit and receive art instruction from local artists.

The studio offers a variety of additional painting experiences including formal K-12 art instruction, private parties and can design individualized sessions for work events or team building.

Simple step by step instruction allows even those with no painting experience the opportunity to create their own work of art.  Avant-Garde provides all the supplies including paint, canvas and aprons. To reserve a seat at a published paint party visit www.avantgardemaine.com.
